Do Not Call Policy
Last updated August 2026
Alara maintains an internal do-not-call list. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will, and we will keep a record of your request.
How to opt out
You can ask us to stop contacting you by any reasonable means, including:
- Telling the person on the call — saying stop, quit, cancel, unsubscribe or remove me is enough
- Emailing info@alarabenefits.com
- Calling or texting the number shown on any communication you receive from us
You do not have to use particular words, and you do not have to give a reason. We will not require you to call a specific number, use a specific form, or speak to a specific person.
How quickly we act
We process opt-out requests within ten business days, and in practice usually the same day. Once processed, your number is added to our internal do-not-call list and suppressed across every system we operate, permanently. It is not removed after a period of time.
Where we have supplied your information to a buyer before you opted out, your number is also added to the suppression list applied to that buyer's future orders.
Registry scrubbing
We scrub against the federal Do Not Call Registry using our own subscription, against a registry copy no more than 31 days old, before any calling campaign. We also scrub against the separate registries operated by individual states, and against known-litigator lists.
Your obligations if you buy data from us
Scrubbing performed by Alara does not transfer to you and does not discharge your own legal obligations. If you purchase data or leads from us, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining your own subscription to the federal Do Not Call Registry for the area codes you call — a service provider may not share downloaded registry data across clients
- Scrubbing against a registry copy no more than 31 days old before you dial
- Maintaining your own internal do-not-call list
- Honouring opt-out requests within ten business days
- Complying with applicable state telemarketing law, which in several states is stricter than federal law
Records
We retain records of opt-out requests, consent documentation, and campaign scrubbing for five years, consistent with the Telemarketing Sales Rule.
